Melinda, 38, was surrounded by football, netball and cricket growing up. But she had no ball skills or confidence. Her self-talk was pretty negative, telling her she couldn’t do it. But at teacher-training, she joined a touch footy team and discovered her groove. Now with two kids, Melinda’s been selected for the women’s state side. Look out!
